Argentina Duck Hunting at Las Flores

Argentina Duck Hunting father & son tripFor the perfect combination of comfortable lodging, excellent service and consistently good shooting Argentina is unrivaled.   But our Las Flores Argentina Duck Hunting Combo program also offers some of the greatest value to be had anywhere. This program is defined by simple but comfortable lodging, home-cooked meals, personal service, solid hunting program that is personally managed by your host.  Returning guests state it was their best of all previous hunts to Argentina.

This Argentina duck hunt features comfortable, well-camouflaged dry and semi-dry blinds, and the quality equipment necessary to get ducks - lots of them - every time.  Absolutely no hunting detail is spared; the generous limit of 50 ducks per hunter daily is usually achieved within a couple hours or less.  Afternoon hunts may consists of hot-barrelled dove and pigeon hunting near wood lots, or perdiz hunting with pointers.

After arriving to Buenos Aires on a morning flight from the United States and transfer to camp usually in time for an afternoon hunt.  Mornings consist of fast-paced, hot-barreled Argenina duck hunting for a variety of species.  Shoot twice daily, morning and evening, with plenty of relaxation and a mid-day siesta.  Ducks may be hunted during the afternoons, depending on weather and scouting reports, but we suggest perdiz hunting over some of the very best Brittanies in Argentina or dove hunting for a change of pace.  You may also want to spend an afternoon hunting for trophy black buck or axis deer.

Argentina Duck Hunting _1456Most US guests say that this Argentina duck hunting experience is readily familiar and suites their needs perfectly: comfortable, non-luxury estancia amenities along with authentically delicious, home-cooked meals and desserts; a friendly, always-smiling staff that works hard to make these hunts productive and fun.

Duck hunting ponds are intensively managed to ensure high-quality shooting.  The roads are good and the drives are very short, usually within a half-hour but sometimes longer.  Expect very short walks over even terrain to the duck blind. Following a final memorable morning duck hunt on your last day, you'll be transfered for an overnight in Buenos Aires, to the airport for flight back to the U.S. that evening or on to another destination.

Light waders and field clothing appropriate for temperatures between 30 and 60 degrees are all that's required for clothing.  Bring your shotgun for about $100 per gun customs fee or travel worry free and rent one.  The estancia is well-stocked with clean, reliable Reminton and Beretta 12 gauge semi-autos. We'll handle the worrisome travel details; your biggest worry need be only which one to shoot next while duck hunting in Argentina.

Field Report - Argentina Duck Hunt Las Flores

_ceimg_2849.jpg"Argentina duck hunting at Las Flores is unrivaled.  More decoying rosybills than I've ever seen, and it was due entirely to properly intensive management.  Fifty-duck per man "limits" were easily attained, and one morning we put away 154 ducks in less than an hour.

Our host is the most personable and hands-on Argentine outfitter I've encountered.  Dollar for duck, there's not better Argentina duck hunting."  ~ Ramsey Russell, July 2010

e_mg_9785.jpg"Those that enjoy following a good dog really need to take advantage of this hunt for the Spotted Tinamou, or Perdiz.  A terrific game bird about the size of Hungarian Partridge, wonderful on the table and a dog man's delight in the field.  I hunted over the best Brittany Spaniel I've ever seen and was a wonderful experience as I followed her over the Pampas.  With solid points and great tracking on running birds,  I reveled in the pleasure of watching her unravel the scent trails of perdiz.  This little dog was a sheer joy and I would have bought her a first class ticket home had she been for sell.  Don't miss out on the often overlooked experience of high-quality perdiz hunting in Argentina.  Quail hunting is a thing of the past in many areas of the U.S., but Argentina perdiz hunts are the next best thing!" ~ Pat Pitt, July 2010
