Licensing - Missouri Spring Snow Goose
Hunt
Nonresident Conservation Order Permit to pursue, take, possess
and transport blue, snow or Ross's geese during the Conservation
Order beginning in 2010. Required of all nonresidents 16 years of
age or older, $40. Nonresident permits can be purchased
by phone in advance of your Missouri duck hunt at (800)
392-4115.
Bird Limits - Missouri Spring Snow Goose
Hunt
The Conservation Order for light geese will be in effect from
February 1-April 30 with no bag limit. Hunters may use electronic
calls and unplugged shotguns, and shoot from ½ hour before sunrise
to ½ hour after sunset. A Conservation Order Permit is the only
permit required for residents & nonresidents during this
time.
Retriever Policy - Missouri Spring Snow
Goose Hunt
Properly trained retrievers are always welcome, but they
must be well managed so as not to negatively impact the
hunting. Outfitter reserves the right to request dog no
longer be hunted. A tie down stake or leash strongly
recommended to ensure dog safety.
Bird Processing - Missouri Spring Snow Goose
Hunt
Bird Cleaning is not included in cost of Missouri Spring Snow
Goose Hunt package, but a helping hand is usually provided by this
highly-professional staff. Birds may be breasted or picked. A
nearby migratory bird processing facility is available.
For $3-$4 per bird, your geese will be professionally picked,
frozen and ready for home transport.
We strongly suggest bringing ice chests large enough to ensure
proper care of birds. All geese must be kept in ice chest
located in hunters vehicle. USFWS statutes regarding transportation
of migratory game birds are strictly adhered.
