Could not have expected a better experience for Argentina dove hunting
First time hunting in Argentina, could not have expected a better experience for hunting birds…here or anywhere else!! Martha was a gracious and humorous support to our team. Diego, Santi, and crew could not have been more helpful. The field lunches were terrific. My bird guide and I laughed constantly during the hunt through hits and misses. Congratulations to all!! And let’s not forget the food at the lodge and amazing chocolate. Thanks you.

Argentina wingshooting fantastic experience
First time on international hunting trip, a fantastic experience. It was amazing to be able to immerse myself in the culture of a different country – from the different language to the food and everything in between. Everyone was extremely helpful and made the week very memorable. Thank you!

New Zealand duck hunting exceeding all our expectations
Dear Mr. Russell,
I just wanted to take a minute and send a quick note regarding my recent trip to New Zealand for duck hunting. When I originally contacted you regarding the hunt, I had planned to travel a couple weeks later than what the trip dates finally became. With your feedback, we decided to move the trip up, so we could be in New Zealand for opening day of the duck season. So glad we took this advice. Opening day was a tremendous success and the following days were action-packed. Our hosts knew we had come to their country looking for five species and they all worked hard to get us our birds.
Ramsey, I give the New Zealand duck hunting trip my HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION. The hosts are knowledgeable, professional, and eager to please their guests. On opening day, our hosts gave us preferential treatment when it came to assigning hunting blinds (mai-mais). While I felt this was unnecessary, I certainly appreciated the gesture when the birds were flying.
I hope to take my sons to NZ in future, so they can enjoy gunning exotic waterfowl in Kiwi country.
Thank you for your assistance in booking this hunt and exceeding all our expectations in NZ.

Mazatlan Mexico duck hunting was excellent
Anita went above and beyond to make sure that we were totally satisfied, and GetDucks.com always replied back to our questions immediately. The ocean view from our room was super.

Mexico duck hunting in Mazatlan is not just about the ducks…
Big thanks to GetDucks.com, as well as our significant others, for a terrific Mazatlan Mexico duck hunting trip! Mazatlan is not just about the ducks – we spent the afternoons with our wonderful wives and had a blast!
The food is excellent and very inexpensive! Shrimp and spiny lobster are in big supply and available at every restaurant. The view isn’t too shabby either!
There is so much to do there sight seeing, shopping & other silly stuff that girls wanted to do. We didn’t even touch the amazing fishery available!

Words do not give justice to the quality of people you deal with at GetDucks.com. Most others are much more involved in the booking aspect than in the delivery of the package. Anita and Ramsey deliver the goods as if you were family.

My brother and I got to shoot a “double”! We haven’t done that for quite some time. Very pleased with GetDucks.com’s professionalism and diligent service.
“The food and accommodations were great. The guides did an excellent job. Turkeys were either killed, seen or at least heard everywhere we went. Rainy, windy, and foggy for about half of our hunting experience, but nobody can control the weather. My brother and I got to shoot a “double”! We haven’t done that for quite some time. Very pleased with GetDucks.com’s professionalism and diligent service.”

We had a great time spring snow goose hunting and seeing another part of the US. The guide staff were true professionals and worked hard to make the hunts safe and productive. Thanks for arranging the trip!
“My son and I had a great time spring snow goose hunting in South Dakota and seeing another part of the US. Absolutely no complaints! The guide staff were true professionals and worked hard to make the hunts safe and productive. I have geese in my freezer and a new set of stories to tell. And a few lies…
Thanks for arranging the trip and I’d be interested in hearing some more about your other hunts in the future (including that GetDucks.com Baja Mexico brant hunt).”
All the best,

The resort was beautiful, and we were greeted to our view of the Pacific Ocean from our balcony. Limits for all of us every day. We were often back to the resort before our ladies had finished breakfast!
“The Mazatlan Mexico duck hunting trip was to celebrate my 20th anniversary to wonderful wife, Tracie. We wanted to do something a little different for us, and something we would both enjoy.
Long story short, Ramsey Russell with GetDucks.com hooked us up with a great trip to the Mexican Pacific coast, which just happened to also offer great duck hunting! We invited several good friends, and were lucky enough to have Warren, his wife Dianne, and close friends (and fellow veterinarians) Dane and Cindy join us.
The resort was beautiful, and we were greeted to our view of the Pacific Ocean from our balcony. We spent the late afternoon and evening enjoying the sites and a walk down the beach. For the next 4 mornings, we were treated to some of the best duck hunting I could imagine, within 1.5 hours of the resort. Limits for all of us every day. We were often back to the resort before our ladies had finished breakfast!
Regarding birds, shovelers were EVERYWHERE, and therefore constituted a chunk of our bag. We also got into the green-wing teal for sure, even blue-winged teal (our warm winter even short stopped most of the bluewings and cinnamons, unfortunately…oh well, a reason to go back!) We had one day of nothing but bluebills (well, almost all bluebills, Warren had to whack a shoveler.). I was lucky enough to get several wigeon and a black-bellied tree duck.
The rest of the day was spent either sightseeing, shopping with the ladies, or just doing NOTHING at the pool. I NEVER get to do NOTHING, so this was a special treat!
Evenings were for enjoying the UNBELIEVABLE sunsets and eating amazing seafood. We returned home reluctantly last Friday night. It was an unbelievable trip on so many levels. Certainly it won’t be the last time.
A quick word on safety in Mexico. The American media and the Dept of State would have you believe you can’t safely poke your nose off the plane anywhere in Mexico. At least where we were in Mazatlan, no one even looked at us sideways. We encountered plenty of other Americans and Canadians who had no complaints and wouldn’t go anywhere else. The shops, resorts, restaurants were very friendly and safe. I want to go back, preferably today.”

GetDucks provided a supremely accurate description of the package. Though we were cautious due to prior experiences with other organizers, this trip was a huge success and a good a trip as I have ever been on.
“All the birds were killed with 2 3/4” shells. Had we not thrown restraint to the wind, we quite possibly could have limited out with 20 birds per person in 20 minutes. When is the last time you let a drake go by in Ohio because you didn’t think it was feathered very well? I never dreamed I could restrain myself, though I did shoot some stupid birds just to take them out of the gene pool. Just doing my part for the betterment of the sport!
My wife, Diane, explained to me the we need to start saving for the next Mazatlan duck hunting trip while she took one last look around the resort. She claims that I can keep hunting ducks if I include her in trips like this. Well, we should all have trips go this smooth and be able to get along as well as we all did. All the wives want to go back. I know for a fact that if anyone would suggest a trip back there again, the girls would probably start packing before the sentence was completed.
GetDucks provided a supremely accurate description of the package. Though we were cautious due to prior experiences with other organizers, this trip was a huge success and a good a trip as I have ever been on. But there is one complaint – you should have convinced us to stay a day or 2 longer! No one in the group felt like heading home. We will all be rested up to go back to work on Monday, but our thoughts will be back in Mexico. This was a relaxing experience, with moments of intense shooting. Don’t get better than that. Many thanks Ramsey & Anita Russell. You both did damned good.”
